Hi all,

I'm 50% portugees, but i was born in belgium and lived there all my life. i speak portugees but i can't write it. This summer (25 - 28 august) i'll be visiting my family in lisbon for my mariage.

I'm a good poolplayer (not pro, but i can run a rack or two in 8b, 9b, and do 30+ breaks in straightpool).

I'm looking for a place where i can play some pool on 9feet tables, and maybe play some matches vs good players.

Whats the best place with 9" tables
Whats the best place to find strong pool players.
Is there a tournament in lisbon between 25-28 august where i can play in?

i will be staying close to Alameda. (i don't have a car, so i'll have to take the metro)

Hi,
you can go to aguia snookerclub. The adress is: Travessa do Salitre. It´s nearby av. Liberdade and Praça da Alegria. You can take the subway and it´s a very nice place. However, if you wanna play with the best, you gotta go to UPVN and ask for Bruno Girão.
Fortunately, now we have the €... I no longer have to go to the bank and change your money for portuguese escudos (I´m joking )

I'll come on the forum as soon as I arive in the hotel and try to find some time to shoot some pool, but the drinks are on me ! thats the least i can do.

I have no idea how good you guys play and i might lose. Lets say in a good day: i play even with the 9ball ghost and on a bad day: i play even with the 6 ball ghost

yes, it´s true some guys (not gays) call me Earl, but,that´s because we have a lot in common :
-we have the same kind of stroke
-at our best, no one can beat us
-he was the world champion. I´m going to be...
-and we both have nice temper

this may be some of the reasons why I might be considered the portuguese "pearl", it has nothing to do with the glove.
If you doubt anything I said, you can play me anytime you want!! I´m looking forward to beat you and make you pay for the bad jokes...you funny gay...

ps:NOT TO SOON!! It´s not that I have to practice to beat you.. but, as I haven´t practiced and, since I never lost against you, I don't want this to to be my first time...specially because I brag I play a lot better than you
